Felco IE3 electric motors are designed in accordance with IEC 60034-30 efficiency classification standards, ensuring high efficiency, durability, and performance.
These are asynchronous, low-voltage, three-phase TEFC motors. Aluminium frame type FMA3 (sizes 80–132) and cast iron frame type FMC3 (sizes 160–400) are equipped with SKF or equivalent premium bearings and 3xPTC thermistors in the windings. Sizes 80–180 feature sealed-for-life bearings. All models include a locked drive-end bearing as standard.
IE3 motors are IP55-rated, come with blind caps on all terminal connections, and are pre-fitted for drain holes. They are painted in RAL 7038.
